The Design Green Project

The Design Green Project was inaugurated to give designers and artists an outlet to participate in a one-of-a-kind project by being part of the solution, rather than the problem, of the Global Warming Crisis. This project, open to all artists and designers across the globe, is a design competition and a way to raise money for the StopGlobalWarming.org fund. 50% of all proceeds are donated to this cause. Additionally, every entrant (within the United States) will receive a fluorescent light bulb and trees planted in their name. Disciplines include: art, branding, environments, fashion, packaging, photography, print, design green, and now interactive. All winners will receive an Official 2009 Design Green Project Award and many gift cards. Entry fee: $75.
